Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday November 17, paid a visit to the family of the late Ibrahim Dasuki.
Dasuki, a late Sultan of Sokoto died on Monday, November 14.
He was the father of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), who was Jonathan’s National Security Adviser during his tenure as president.
Jonathan condoled with the Dasuki family and the Sokoto monarchy.
"I
traveled to Sokoto this afternoon to condole with the family of the
late Former Sultan Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki and the current Monarch," Jonathan wrote on his Twitter page.
"I
thank the Dasuki Family, the Sultan, the Government and the good people
of Sokoto State for their warm welcome and wonderful hospitality."
Amazingly, Nigerians were seen holding placards expressing how much they would want the former president to return to power.
Please let hm come back. Buhari use gragra and now we are still suffering. he deliver us from Boko haram so that hungry can kill somebody.
ReplyWe were told about how he ruled the first time (buhari), everybody played deaf ears thinking the change will be a positive one.. now, we just pray and hope that things change for better... It has not been easy ever since he resumed office, he is either complaining about his predecessor or borrowing. The said billions that have been returned nobody knows what they have been used for.. a government without fiscal budget for a whole year...let's pray that next yr will be better than this year
